FRAMES

To protect and display our matted prints, we offer two framing types. Our metal frames are made from aluminum, joined and assembled with steel hardware. They are available in matte anodized black and three painted finishes.

The frame codes are:

Black (B)

White (W)

Grey (G)

Slate (S)

To protect and display our matted prints, we offer two framing types. Our wood frames, available in Koa and White Oak, have a Poplar core with a beautiful verneer surface. We join the sides invisibly from the back to create a solid frame unit.

The frame codes are:

Koa (K)

Oak (O)

MATS and GLAZING

We use acid-free conservation mats to mount our photographs. The available colors are shown below. The mat and print are then covered with Exhibitex, a hot lamination process. The Exhibitex replaces glass or plastic as glazing on the front of the print, and seals both the mat and print against fading and soiling. We use a matte canvas texture for the Exhibitex, allowing no-glare viewing of our finished products in varying lighting conditions. You can preview the texture of the finished surface by closely viewing the black sample at right below.

Ivory (I)

Mist (M)

Ecru (E)

Grey (G)

Pewter (P)

Black (B)

MOUNTING

Our framed photographs ship ready-to-hang with wire and two wall hooks. This is a satisfactory hanging method for residential and low security office areas. For commercial, institutional or public spaces we offer an “all four corners” security hanging system for mounting framed pictures to the wall. This security hardware prevents unauthorized removal of the artwork, and keeps framed pictures hanging permanently streight and level on the wall. Removal of our security mounted frames is easily done using a special wrench, which we supply. We will ask you for your mounting preference at the time of your order. The codes are:
